Group Health Coaching Programme – Saturday June 1st 2019, 9 – 11.30 am.

This programme will run one Saturday morning per month for a period of 6 months and is for anyone who feels that they could better improve their health through diet and lifestyle changes.

There will be a maximum of 6 participants in the group so everyone will receive individual attention as well as the benefits of working/sharing/supporting each other and being able to hold each other accountable for any changes you may wish to make.

During our 6 months together we will look at all the different aspects that comprise a happy, healthy life. These aspects include diet, exercise, our home environment, our relationships, spirituality, career and finances. During our sessions we will honour the fact that we are all individuals and recognise that what works for one person may not for another so there will be no hard, rigid rules to follow, just discussion about what may work for you as an individual and then time to trial out anything you wish to before we meet again.

More often than not we all know what is best for us, it can just be hard to implement it and even harder to stick to it. With a health coaching group you will meet like-minded friends who will support you on your journey and who will help to hold you accountable and in that way, it is more likely that permanent changes can be made.

The price of this programme (investment in yourself) is £120, £20 each meeting. A deposit of £45 (non-refundable) is required which is the price of your first meeting and a £5 deposit towards each of the other 5 meetings.

We will meet on Saturday mornings at the Source Yoga Studio in Mochdre from 9 – 11.30 am. The dates are as follows:

Yoga and Horse Meditation – Sunday May 26th 10 am – 12 noon.

Horses are experts at living in the moment. We as humans can struggle with this which is where so much of our stress and anxiety can come from. Come and take some time out to be in the moment in nature, with the horse as your partner.
Cathy Ibbotson will lead you through an hours open air yoga practise followed by half an hour spent mindfully with my horses.
We will finish the morning with a chat and a slice of cake 😊

Yin Yoga and Gong Bathy – Friday May 24th 2019, 7.30 – 10 pm.

 

We haven’t had one of these in a while 🙂

The evening will consist of 65 minutes of Yin Yoga followed by a short comfort break and then an hours’ Gong Bath. As always you are invited to stay behind (to help ground you again after the session) for tea and fruit/cake and a chat.

Yin Yoga is a static form of yoga consisting of seated postures which are held for a period of time (usually 3 minutes upwards). Yin aids flexibility but also gives us time to move deeply inside ourselves connecting to our inner core and creating space and time for deep relaxation.

If you haven’t been to a Gong Bath before it is a form of sound therapy or sound healing. Lying on your yoga mat you close your eyes and relax for an hour whilst being bathed in powerful sound waves. Healing through sound brings the physical body, mind and soul into a state of natural balance and harmony.

Everything in the Universe is in a state of vibration. A Sound Healing Practitioner can create specific sound frequencies and vibrations using Gongs, Quartz or Himalayan singing bowls and other complimentary instruments. Working at a cellular level, the vibrations help the system to balance itself by releasing the denser energy, which can hold the body in an unhealthy state.

The price of the evening will be £23. In order to book your mat we are asking for payment in advance as spaces are limited.
